Belt Tensioning Step 2

Adjusting Belt Tension

Instructions

1

Locate the two screws on the shaft cap eccentric multi (one on each side of the housing).

2

Slightly loosen both screws - just enough to allow the eccentric cap to rotate.

3

Rotate the eccentric cap to adjust belt tension. Clockwise increases tension, counterclockwise decreases tension.

4

Test the belt tension by pressing down on the belt between pulleys.

5

Once proper tension is achieved, tighten both screws to secure the eccentric cap in position.

6

Test the full range of motion to ensure smooth operation.

Important Notes

1

Make small adjustments - a little rotation goes a long way.

2

The eccentric design allows for precise tension adjustment.

3

Always test the full range of motion after adjustment.
